Laumda-III: A Bounty Hunter's Paradise

A fleet of eclectic spacecraft, each with its unique design and markings, descended onto the mist-shrouded planet of Laumda-III. The ships, a diverse assortment of vessels from various corners of the galaxy, had been drawn to the planet by a lucrative bounty on the head of a notorious outlaw. As the ships landed, teams of skilled bounty hunters emerged from each craft, their eyes scanning the dense jungle landscape for any sign of their quarry. The air was thick with the sounds of chirping insects and the distant rumble of a waterfall, but the hunters moved with purpose, their mission clear: track down the outlaw and claim the reward. The purple-tinted jungle seemed to swallow them whole, but the hunters were undaunted, driven by the promise of a hefty payday and the thrill of the hunt.

Harley Quinn's Beach Vacation

Harley Quinn trades in her mallet for a beach umbrella, swapping her villainous ways for a day of sun, sand, and serenity. She soaks up the rays in a bright pink bikini, her signature jester hat replaced with a trendy beach cover-up. As she lounges on the shore, the sound of the waves and seagulls replaces the rumble of her stolen Harley-Davidson. For one day, the Clown Princess of Crime hangs up her wicked ways and indulges in a little R&R.

A Demon and a Magician Get on a London Bus... plus [TrUzApalOOza cardstock variant cover]

I created a NightCafe version inspired by Aaron Campbell's John Constantine, Hellblazer: Dead in America #5 published by DC Comics, and finished it with several edits within Affinity Photo.   Also turned my artwork into a TrUzApalOOza cardstock variant cover edition.

Smoke and Symbols

A #TrUzEDIT remixed version of John Constantine riding atop a London double-decker bus, casually smoking a cigarette. The faint outline of a pentagram is etched into the roof of the bus beneath him.

[Workflow: Extracted image from the cover art by Aaron Campbell on John Constantine, Hellblazer: Dad in America #5 (2024).  Extracted out the main image and changed the focus on the bus, added font work and credit lines, masked in a pentagram using Affinity Photo.]

The Last Hope of Prima-II

The once-vibrant colony on Prima-II now lies deserted and hauntingly quiet. The ambitious terraforming project, intended to transform the planet into a haven for humanity, has spiraled into a devastating catastrophe. Colonists, who once called Prima-II their home, are now compelled to flee in a desperate struggle for survival. Months of mounting terraforming setbacks culminated in a catastrophic event that left no choice but evacuation. The planet's air has turned toxic, its once-fertile lands now barren and devoid of life, and its once-pure waters are tainted and undrinkable.

Amidst the chaos of boarding evacuation vessels, the colonists grapple with profound feelings of grief and hopelessness. Their cherished life on Prima-II is abruptly torn from them. The specter of the failed terraforming endeavor looms over them, casting a shadow that will linger for years to come. The evacuation descends into pandemonium as panic grips the colonists, scrambling to salvage belongings and bid farewell. The once-bustling colony now stands as a desolate ghost town, a stark reminder of the disastrous consequences of the terraforming project's collapse.

Vintage 1947 Postcard Featuring a Boudoir Wonder Woman

I attempted to create a vintage-looking 1940s postcard featuring Wonder Woman's home island, which was advertised as a new vacation spot for the rich citizens of New York City.

[Workflow: collected source images, layered boudoir Wonder Woman onto the postcard side, font work, pulled some lettering from 1940's Wonder Woman comic for the back of the card, added vacation font for the front, various layers of dirt, and patina, brush layers for more roughage. Most of this in Affinity Photo but a few brushes were tweaked in Affinity Designer]

Wonder Woman's Afternoon Off

The Amazonian warrior princess, taking a well-deserved break from saving the world! As Wonder Woman lies on her back in the field of flowers, the warm sun shines down on her, and the sweet scent of the blooming flowers fills her senses. She closes her eyes, feeling the soft petals of the flowers beneath her, and takes a deep breath. As she relaxes, she thinks back to her many adventures, from battling Ares to fighting against the forces of darkness. She reflects on the lessons she's learned, the friends she's made, and the battles she's won. She thinks about her mother, Hippolyta, and the wisdom she's imparted to her.

As she lies there, Wonder Woman realizes that even the strongest warriors need moments of peace and quiet. She thinks about the importance of self-care, and how it's essential to recharge and refocus. She knows that when she returns to her duties, she'll be stronger, wiser, and more determined than ever. As she opens her eyes, she gazes up at the sky, feeling the sun's warmth on her face. She smiles, knowing that even during the chaos, there is always time for a little R&R. With a newfound sense of calm and clarity, Wonder Woman rises from the flowers, ready to face whatever challenges come her way.

The Orbital Battle Above the Aquarius-IV Mining Colony

The once-peaceful skies above the Aquarius-IV mining colony were now a battleground. The orbital battle raged on, with laser blasts and missiles flying back and forth between the two opposing fleets. The mining colony, once a thriving hub of activity, was now a mere spectator to the conflict. The colonists huddled together, praying for the battle to end and the fighting to cease.

The two fleets, the Helios Corporation's fleet and the rival corporation, Nova Terra's fleet, clashed in a spectacular display of firepower. The battle raged on, with neither side giving an inch. The Helios Corporation's fleet, led by the ruthless and cunning Commander Aditya, was determined to crush the Nova Terra fleet and maintain its dominance over the mining colony. Nova Terra's fleet, led by the fearless and determined Commander Elara, was equally determined to break the Helios Corporation's grip on the colony and claim the rich mineral deposits for themselves.

As the battle raged on, the colonists watched in horror as their homes and livelihoods were destroyed. The once-thriving colony was now a war-torn wasteland, with buildings reduced to rubble and the streets littered with debris. The fate of the Aquarius-IV mining colony hung in the balance, as the two fleets clashed in a desperate bid for control. Would the Helios Corporation emerge victorious, or would Nova Terra claim the colony for themselves? Only time will tell.

The Discovery of Wreckage on Narxzous

The lush jungle landscape of the colonial planet Narxzous stretched out before the young colonists, their eyes scanning the horizon for any sign of the missing wreckage. It had been a year since the last supply ship was supposed to have arrived, and the colonists had been struggling to survive on the harsh planet. As they trekked across the jungle terrain, the colonists stumbled upon an immense triangle-shaped object protruding from the ground. As they drew closer, they realized it was a piece of the missing wreckage from the supply ship.
