Batman with Gargoyle Statue
[Workflow: Nano banana for base image + minor human finishes]
MUMBLINGS about whatever happens to trip-my-trigger this week. This might cover books, horror movies, new music I have discovered, photo edits, tweaking panel art from a graphic novel, technical tips for your PC/mobile devices, or any other random topic.

I've created another imaginary DC Comics variant comic book cover. Inspired by the original Kevin Maguire/Terry Austin artwork from 1987's Justice League no.1 comic book art.
[Workflow: I sourced images from various DC comic book covers and fed them into Gemini 2.5 Flash Image (Nano Banana) to create multiple base pieces. I then imported these into Affinity Photo, where I began collaging various components. I then finalized the "versus Toyman" logo, adjusted the layout of the blank sketch cover, designed the barcode, and inserted patriotic-hued creator credits. Additionally, I used Topaz Gigapixel to upscale various elements of the image flow as needed.]-WIP.jpg)

I saw a nice sketch by Jordan Gibson last week, and fed it through some image prompts to get me an homage version of my own to edit on. Cleaned up image glitches, and then I added some new background villains, heat vision beams, and a clean logo from the early days of Superman, with all my tweaking done within Affinity Photo.

I took a single panel from DC Comics Absolute Batman #5 drawn by Nick Dragotta with colors by Frank Martin. I made some alterations and enhancements to create a frame-busting wide-screen version of Batman fending off an attack from a flamethrower.

I took a single panel from DC Comics Absolute Batman #5 , drawn by Nick Dragotta, and used it as an input source for a NightCafe image prompt to create a version of Batman kneeling on a rooftop. I then found several images online and merged/masked them into the final picture with Affinity Photo.

[Workflow: I fed one of my previous JC creations into KLING's syntax prompt, then did final edits and additions within Affinity.]

In the heart of a damp graveyard, the air is thick with the scent of wet earth and decaying leaves. The moon hangs low in the sky, casting an eerie silver light that glimmers off the puddles of standing water scattered across the uneven ground. Shadows dance between the crooked tombstones, their inscriptions worn and faded over time.
John Constantine stands at the center of this desolate scene, his trench coat clinging to him, heavy with moisture. His expression is intense concentration, eyes narrowed as he focuses on the incantation swirling in his mind. The dampness of the graveyard seems to amplify the tension in the air, a palpable energy crackling around him.![]() |

Here is a new batch of John Constantine images that started from several Tengr prompts, and then I finished them over the last week with post-edits in Affinity Photo.
